九四年台師大英文作文。
Jack was a single-parent father. His wife passed away long time ago. So he and his son depended on each other.
One day, his boss told him that he must go to a foreign country to work, otherwise he will lose his job. But, he may get the chance to promote if he did well. For this reason, he decided to go to the foreign country for work with his son.
When they went in to the foreign country, Jack settled his son in a local school, and worked hard for his job. At the beginning, Jack worked overtime a lot, he even forgot to care about his child. He didn't find any problem from his son until his son came home late day after day.
One night, Jack was waiting for his son to come home, and he reprimanded his son heavily. But it didn't work. The next day his son went to school and never came back. Jack was looking for him everywhere but didn't see his son.
In the company's party. Jack was promoted to manager, but he could only thought about his son . After all that hard work and planning, Jack finally had what he wanted. But was he really happy?
